Designer of the Day- Zac Posen

Born in 1980 and raised in New York City, Zac Posen developed an eye for fashion at a very yong age. He's studied at Parson's School of Design (NYC) and Central Saint Martin's College of Art and Design (London). The designer got his big break after model Naomi Campbell was seen wearing one of his dresses back in 2000. Less than a year later, he launched the Zac Posen label and had his first fashion show all before the age of 22. Since, he has collaborated with big name corporations such as Target and Seven For All Mankind. His A-List clients include Gwyneth Paltrow, Beyonce, Demi Moore and Natalie Portman.

Chanel Spring 2012 collection

Here are some highlights from the Spring 2012 collection show.
Enjoy!
(It's Chanel, so I'm not sure how you CAN'T enjoy this)

Designer of the Day- Givenchy

Born to a wealthy, French family in 1927, Hubert de Givenchy grew up to become one of the most influential designers in the fashion industry. After working alongside Christian Dior and Pierre Balmain, he finally opened his own line, House of Givenchy in 1952. Not soon after, he started dressing  A-listers like Audrey Hepburn and Jackie Kennedy. It was clients like these that put Givenchy permanently on the fashion map. Although he sold his company to Moet Hennessey-Louis Vuitton in 1988, he remained head of design up until his retirement in 1995. Today, Givenchy is still a popular choice among Hollywood's elite.
